• How do I care for my hemp jewelry?

  Hemp is a natural durable product. When you first receive your order, the hemp will be stiff. This will soften up with wearing. To speed up the process, wet your jewelry or even wear it in the shower. Slide knot bracelets are intended to be worn all the time, but can be taken on and off if necessary. The knots slide more easily when they are dry, so don't try to tighten them while they are wet.

  Although products with wooden beads are not recommended for regularly wearing in the shower or other situations where they will get wet, occasionally getting them wet, but not soaking for extended periods, will not damage the bead and will soften the hemp cord.

  The colors on the hemp cord may fade slightly, but are really quite durable, even when worn continuously. Extended exposure to chlorine, as in a pool, or sun, may cause the color to fade more quickly.

• Where did Friendship Bracelets come from?

  Originally, these colorful bands were invented by Indians in Central and South America. According to tradition, you tie a bracelet onto the wrist of a friend who may wish for something at that moment. The bracelet should be worn until it is totally worn-out and falls off by itself, at which moment, the wish is supposed to come true.

• How do I know my size?

  If you do no have a flexible measuring tape, the easiest way to measure your wrist or neck for bracelet and choker sizes is to wrap a string or ribbon around where you want your jewelry to fit, noting where the end meets the string, and then measure that with a ruler. The measurement that you give me will be the length of the braided part. The clasp will add some space for comfort. Please note that measurement in the notes to me when you check out. Since each order is made just for you, I am happy to customize at no additional charge.

• How long will it take to receive my order?

  Most products are hand crafted and made to order. The time it takes to fill an order depends on availability of products and work load. That said, I will work to produce and ship your order as quickly as possible. Once shipped most domestic orders take anywhere from 2 to 10 business days to arrive depending on the efficiency of your local postal service. International shipping delivery times may vary between 2 and 12 weeks.

• Do you accept orders placed outside of the US?

  We sure do!

• How do I care for Laser Engraved charms?

  Although stainless steel won't rust or tarnish, it will benefit from some TLC:
  - Clean marks with a lint-free cloth and vinegar.
  - Do not scrub- it may scratch!
  - To enhance the shine, use a drop of baby or vegetable oil with a lint-free soft cloth.
